Living and Praying in Peace

Color bulletThe Great Experiment III

February 9, 2003

9 - 10 AM (PST West Coast),
Noon - 1 PM (EST New York City)
5 - 6 PM (London)

Events:
Olympia, WA
:  Silent Peace Meditation & Prayer
Tivoli Fountain (right by Capital Way) on the Capitol Campus  - 9AM

"I  was once asked why I don't participate in anti-war demonstrations.  I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I'll be there"
Mother Teresa

On February 9 at noon Now York time (9 AM Pacific, 5 PM London), millions of people around the world will focus their prayers of peace, sending a wave of heeling energy to the governments of both the US and Iraq.

Join spiritual teachers James Twyman, Doreen Virtue and Gregg Braden  in manifesting a peaceful conclusion to this standoff in the Middle East.

The vigil will be called The Great Experiment III, following on other experiments in recent years.

Technicians will be with James Twymen and a large group In Jerusalem taking measurements to hopefully prove the effectiveness of this prayer technology.  (James will be in Israel instead of Iraq because Jerusalem is the cradle of the three major monotheistic religions, and is in many ways the most powerful vortex in the Middle East.)

Pass the word to everyone you know, and most of all, participate by adding your own energy.

Here's how you can participate on Feb. 9th at 9 AM (PST):

  1. Come to Olympia WA to the State Capital Tivoli Fountain.
  2. Dress warm.  Bring a chair if you need to sit.

Or

  1. Gather in a small group in your own community.  Check your local time to coincide with the world-wide events.
  2. Sit quietly for a few moments focused on peace then simply say this prayer that is an adaptation by Mother Teresa of the Prayer of St. Francis showing the path to peace:

When I am hungry,  give me someone that I can feed.  And when I am thirsty, give me someone who needs a drink.  When I am cold, give me someone to keep warm.  And when I grieve, give me someone to console."
